St. Vincent de Paul Society

The philosophy of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is "No work of charity is foreign to the Society. Need, not creed, determines who is helped, and how." The need is ongoing within our St. Patrick parish boundary area. We in the Society strive to meet these needs on an individual basis, while maintaining anonymity and the dignity of those whom we serve.

We provide this help by visiting the people in their homes to assess their situation, determine the needs, provide immediate assistance, and make recommendations for other agencies. This is in keeping with the Society's mission "to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of the founder, Blessed Frederik Ozanam, and its patron, St. Vincent de Paul."

Our ability to give this assistance is made possible by your contributions to the Poor Boxes located at the doors of the church and by donations mailed directly to us at the parish. Every penny goes to directly assist those who are struggling.

Founded in 1833, St. Vincent de Paul is an international, Catholic, lay organization that helps those in need. We are not a social service agency, we are a person to person Catholic Ministry that sees the face of Christ in the face of those who are suffering.
