Rosary Altar Society

St.Patrick's Rosary Altar Society meets in the church hall the third Wednesday of each month at 11:00 am., after a cooperative luncheon. The society is open to all women of the parish who wish to increase their own spiritual welfare and promote the welfare of the parish.

The Blessed Mother is our patroness. We pray the rosary before each meeting and hold Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy services for the parish in the chapel before the Tuesday evening video Masses. The Marian Prayer services are held in May and October.

We receive Holy Communion in a body on the first Sunday of each month at the 10:00 am. Mass. A Mass for living and deceased members is celebrated once a year. When a member dies, the group gathers for a Scripture service and rosary and forms a candlelight honor guard at their funeral Mass.

The society raffles a basket of groceries before Thanksgiving and Easter. With the proceeds, they provide vestments, surplices, alter linens, candles, statues for the creche and courtyard, laundry of church linens, donations for church expansion, gifts for priests, the organist and charitable works.
