The St. Patrick Choir will participate in the NPM Detroit St. Cecilia Sing. The event is an annual festival of parish choirs/ensembles from all over the Archdiocese of Detroit, performing beautiful, sacred music of varied styles and cultures in honor of the Feast of St. Cecilia, the patron of music. The program is free and open to the public. The audience is invited to join in singing hymns and antiphons between sets. All members of the parish, family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend. NPM Detroit is the Detroit Chapter of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, whose programs include institutes, workshops and conventions. A free-will offering will be taken to support NPM programming.
