We are excited to inform you that we now offer Online Giving. As a church that seeks to serve, we wanted to provide you the convenience of being able to give the way you want, whenever you want. Online Giving offers you the opportunity to make secure, automatic contributions form your bank or credit/debit account to our church. Online Giving costs you nothing and provides many advantages to you and the church:
Is online giving safe?
Online Giving meets the highest banking-level security standards set forth by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) to ensure safe and confidential transactions. In fact, your banking information is encrypted in the system and is not accessible to any users or administrators of the Online Giving system. When you manage your own account information, your church never needs to handle checks or worry about locking up documents containing account information. And you'll always be certain that your gifts are direct-deposited into your church's account.
What are the advantages of Online Giving?
It makes it easy to give, even when you are unable to attend chruch. You never have to bring cash or checks to church. Giving electronically also helps the church save money and plan its budget!
How are my contributions automatically deducted from my account?
Once you complete the online registration from, the contribution amount you specify will automatically be transferred from your bank account to the church's bank account.
When will my contribution be deducted from my account?
Your electronic contribution will be debited on the date you specify on the "My Gifts" page of the Online Giving system.
If I don not write checks, how do I keep my checkbook balance straight?
Since your contribution is made at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Electronic contributions are recoreded for you on your bank statement as well as your online reports.
Without a canceled check, how can I prove I made my contribution?
Your bank statement and the Online Giving system both provide reports that document your electronic transactions.
Can I put different amounts in offerings and have all of them withdrawn at different times?
You can contribute to different offerings at different times; however, you will have to do each one separately. You will receive a receipt for each one.
What if I change bank accounts?
Log in and update your account information in the My Payment Methods window. Each checking/savings/credit/debit card can be changed using the edit button, deleted completely, or new accounts can be added on the right side of the screen.
How much does Online Giving cost?
It costs you absolutely nothing!
What if I try Online Giving and don't like it?
You can cancel your authorization by cancelling your gifts and donation dates at any time.
Recently, the requests for help with rent, utilities and food has increased greatly as you would expect with so many out of work. If you are able, please consider a donation to enable them to continue to help those in need. The best way to get funds to St. Vincent de Paul is to write a check (Attn: St. Vincent de Paul) and place it in a donation envelope then place it in the boxes at the back of the church. Thank you for your generous support!

Kroger Rewards
The St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Patrick in White Lake is recieving Kroger Community Rewards dollars. This money is used to help clients in need of food, rent and utility assistance. If you link your Kroger Plus card to our St. Vincent de Paul Conference, we could help even more families in need.
All you need to do is go to kroger.com, sign into your Kroger rewards account and choose 'community rewards' from the top banner. In the search box, enter 83173 to find our SVdP conference. This will link your rewards card to the St. Patrick SVdP, and a percentage of your purchases will go to the poor we serve.

Our Meals on Wheels ministry is in need of more subs or permanent drivers. We deliver the 3rd week of every month. There are routes that need help on Monday and Tuesdays through the spring as we have a few snowbirds. The food is picked up at 10:30am at Dublin Senior Center, and the routes usually take between 1.5-2 hours to complete. The clients are always so happy to see you and it is a very fulfilling experience.
Please contact Shannon at [email protected] if you are interested in this great way to help the community.
Visit the Sick
"The Lord sustains him on his sickbed, you turn down his bedding whenever he is ill." ~Psalm 41:4
Eucharisticrevival.org says, "It is absolutely necessary to visit the sick around us: the physically ill, the mentally ill, and the spiritually ill. Sickness in any form can bring hopelessness--in those very places, we are called to be present and offer the hope and love of Christ. Through us, Jesus comes to those who are suffering." We can find many ways to help the sick through this work, consider doing some of the following:
Visit someone in the hospital or nursing home
Join a homebound minstry and take communion to our fellow brothers and sister in Christ
Take flowers or a meal to your sick friend or neighbor
Offer support to someone going through an illness
Run an errand for an elderly or sick person
July marks the beginning of a new fiscal year for parishes throughout the archdiocese. Each year, I must submit a budget to the archbishop. Actually, as Moderator, I am to sign the budget for all of the parishes in the Family, Holy Spirit, St. Mary, St. Patrick, and St. Perpetua; therefore, I must be familiar with the financials of all of our parishes.
In recent years St. Patrick has been the recipient of an Employee Retention Credit from the Federal Government. This was a credit for eligible businesses and tax-exempt organizations that had employees and were affected by COVID-19. Our net credit was $237,000 for 2022-2023 and $757,000 for 2023-2024. I state this because there will be no credit for the current fiscal year, nor in the future years to come. One of my challenges upon arriving is that we have been spending more money than we take in through the offertory; however, the deficit has been masked by the extra revenue from the Employee Retention Credit.
