Thursday October 10th & 24th at 6pm
We have a standing invite from Independence Village (Senior living center on Union Lake Road) for our Bunco nights. We will meet twice a month on Thursdays at 6pm and stay until about 7:30pm for this dice game. They really look forward to our visits. Come brighten the week of the residents at Independence Village. No experience necessary. You can learn as you play. Bring the whole family! We are in need of volunteers for the following areas:
Linen cleaning: We need one or two more people interested in cleaning and prepping altar linens. We are looking for someone who can do the 5th week of the month when it occurs or can serve as back up to our normally scheduled people. This job requires someone who has access to a washer, dryer, and iron. Training will be provided.
Sacristans: We could use a couple more individuals for the various Sunday Masses. Right now, we have about two people for each Mass who switch back and forth. We would like to get to a once a month rotation. Training will be provided.
Weekday Readers, Servers, and Sacristans: We are looking to round out our schedule for the summer with a few more weekday readers, servers, and sacristans, especially to fill gaps when regularly scheduled people are on vacation. Training will be provided.
If you are interested in filling in any of these positions, please contact Director of Worship, Chris Gawel

Stewardship involves all aspects of our lives. As Catholics, we are called by God to serve His people with a grateful heart by using the time, unique talents and treasures He has bestowed upon us. At St. Patrick Catholic Church, we have opportunities to serve and give in so many ways regardless of your current circumstances or financial situation. No amount of giving is too small to make a significant difference to those around you and your generosity makes a direct impact on others in our parish, community and beyond.
Please fill out the volunteer form below to be added to our volunteer database in order to be matched with the service opportunities that are most aligned with your skills, interests and availability. Note to those taking Eucharist to the homebound:
Thank you all for your service and dedication at St. Patrick's. We want to remind those of you who are an EMHC and take communion to the homebound of the recently implemented directives and requirements -
In order to better serve our homebound brothers and sisters, we ask that every EMHC who is taking communion to the homebound to go through the Archdiocese's EMHC formation course available at this link. As you will notice, the directives mentioned above are the policies of the Archdiocese of Detroit and have been implemented to promote devotion to the Eucharist in all settings.
We recognize the effort needed for everyone to become familiarized with this new process and we intend to communicate this by all means available. And please note, starting on Ash Wednesday (February 14), anyone who comes forward with a pyx and is not at the end of the communion line will be directed to see the priest after Mass for host(s).
If you know a parishioner who is shut-in and would like to receive Holy Communion from our Homebound Ministry, or a visit from a Priest, please have them contact Christian Service at 248-698-3103 ext. 215
